Indoor Skydiving

To wrap up our study of wind, we went on a fantastic field trip to Perris Indoor Skydiving. It was soooo much fun!!! First, we got a tour of the airfield. We sat on the only jumbo jet in the world to allow for jumpers. Then, we saw skydivers prepare for a world record jump tomorrow. But the best part of all was when we got to jump in their giant wind tunnel for some indoor skydiving. Their vertical wind tunnel enables people to experience the sensation of flight. Air moves upwards at about 120mph allowing the kids to "float".  It was awesome! Here is our video.
