Beach Bash
Today was our annual Beach Bash! Our wonderful families joined us for a great, albeit a bit chilly, day at the beach. This year, in keeping with the building challenges from last month, we invited a professional sand sculptor to come share some of the science behind his art. With buckets, trowels, shovels, and even a melon baller in hand, the kids divided into teams and started building. Some kids went in an entirely unique direction while others were trying to replicate what they had just learned. We wrapped up the day with our favorite tradition of all...S'mores!!!
